How long have you been a fan of Georgia Southern? I’ve been a fan of Georgia Southern a long time. My first memory was attending a soccer camp there as a young boy, probably 7 or 8 and telling my grandfather, who worked for Georgia Southern, that i would be attending the school when I grew up.
What is your favorite tradition around your team? There are lots of wonderful traditions around Georgia Southern: from Beautiful Eagle Creek, our football team riding old yellow school buses to games to remind us of our Blue Collar work ethic and humble beginnings, and even being known as the Gnat Capital of America.
What is your favorite tailgate dish? My favorite tailgate dish is either Rotel Dip with chips, or Hawaiian Ham and cheese sliders. You can never go wrong with a Chick-fil-A nugget tray either.
Why should you be the #1 fan? I might’ve been #40 on the field, but I’m #1 in your heart and that’s the passion I have for Georgia Southern. Georgia Southern University provided me the opportunity to excel both in the classroom and prepared me for a future filled with success.

Why is it important to support the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home? I support the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd home to continue their mission of supporting young women when they need it most; the support is vital as they provide education, life-skills training, and enrichment right here in OUR community for our future citizens and leaders.
This is an all-school football kickoff party to benefit the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home in Columbus. This event features tailgate fare, beer and wine, tailgate jams by DJ Cash Flow, mascots, cheerleaders, drumlines, a silent auction, and more! At the event, our #1 fan will be announced. The #1 fan represents their school and is the top fundraiser for the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home. This high-energy event is located at the Cunningham Center on the campus of Columbus State University. Come and be a part of this fun event and show off your school colors!
