How long have you been a fan of your school? I have proudly been a fan of Albany State University since 2005.
What is your favorite tradition around your team? My favorite tradition is the Fountain City Classic. It is always a great time of fellowship, school pride, culture, and community engagement.
What is your favorite tailgate dish? BBQ Ribs
Why should you be the #1 fan? Albany State University helped shape me into the man, leader, educator, and servant of the community that I am today. Since 2005, I have proudly represented ASU through my work, leadership, and service throughout Columbus and the surrounding region. Whether it is the energy of the Fountain City Classic, supporting Golden Rams athletics, or connecting with fellow alumni, Albany State pride is part of who I am. I believe I should be the #1 fan because my support for ASU goes beyond football season — it reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence, community, culture, and giving back.
Why is it important to you to support Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home? Supporting the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home is important to me because every child deserves safety, healing, opportunity, and hope. As an educator, mentor, minister, and community leader, I understand how trauma can impact the lives of young people and how critical it is to have organizations willing to stand in the gap for them. The work being done through the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home changes lives by providing protection, counseling, life skills, and support for young ladies who have experienced difficult circumstances. I believe communities are strongest when we invest in protecting and uplifting our youth, and I am honored to support a cause that is making a real difference in the lives of young women and families in our region.

This is an all-school football kickoff party to benefit the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home in Columbus. This event features tailgate fare, beer and wine, tailgate jams by DJ Cash Flow, mascots, cheerleaders, drumlines, a silent auction, and more! At the event, our #1 fan will be announced. The #1 fan represents their school and is the top fundraiser for the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home. This high-energy event is located at the Cunningham Center on the campus of Columbus State University. Come and be a part of this fun event and show off your school colors!
