How long have you been a fan of Mercer? I became a Mercer Bear myself in 2018 and am a “double bear”, but I had many family members who were Bears before I was!
What is your favorite tradition around your team? Homecoming week was always a favorite tradition. There are so many student activities and a pep rally to get the excitement and energy up. I was a Chi Omega, and I loved welcoming back our alumni for a brunch because I got to hear their best Mercer stories.
What is your favorite tailgate dish? Pig in a blanket, chips, and any dip, pulled pork
Why should you be the #1 fan? Being a Mercer fan has been a family affair! When I started at Mercer, I joined my brother and my cousin, who were current students, but before us, my aunt, uncle, grandmother, and grandfather had all graduated from Mercer. Mercer has created so many memories for me and continues to do so!
Why is it important to you to support Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home? AESH fills a need in our community for girls who have experienced trauma to heal in a safe environment, but they can only do it with your support. For each girl that comes through those doors, a life can be changed and transformed.
This is an all-school football kickoff party to benefit the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home in Columbus. This event features tailgate fare, beer and wine, tailgate jams by DJ Cash Flow, mascots, cheerleaders, drumlines, a silent auction, and more! At the event, our #1 fan will be announced. The #1 fan represents their school and is the top fundraiser for the Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home. This high-energy event is located at the Cunningham Center on the campus of Columbus State University. Come and be a part of this fun event and show off your school colors!
