I grew up in Auburn, AL, and graduated from Auburn High School in 1995. I then spent the next 8 years in Mobile, Alabama, at the University of South Alabama for undergrad and medical school.

After medical school, I moved to Lexington, KY, where I completed my residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Obstetrics and Gynecology before returning home to the loveliest village on the plains in 2007.

I have been living out my dream and serving the women of eastern Alabama and western GA by practicing as an OBGYN for 17 years. I joined Wellstar in March 2024 at Wellstar West Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology and am in practice with Drs. Brett Bowie, Michael Bakarich, and Katie Magnuson.

I have been married to my husband Robert for 17 years, and we have five boys together—Kyle, Craig, Tanner, Ellis, and Quinn. As if they didn’t keep us busy enough, we also have four dogs, Ruby, Shelby, Livy, and Kevin, and a bearded dragon, Falcor.

As a family, we love traveling, soccer, music, Auburn athletics, fishing, and shopping (that last one is mostly just me).

I spent several years as the medical director for the Child Advocacy Center of East Alabama and am a member of the national leadership team for Baby Steps, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering student moms to have their education and their babies!

I am honored to work alongside such a fantastic group to bring awareness to and raise financial support for Twin Cedars. The ability to make a difference in our community, specifically in the life of a child, is truly humbling.
