My name is Peter Thomas Alford Jr. but everyone calls me P.T. I am married to Alyssa Alford, and we are expecting a baby girl in March of 2025, her name will be Annie Alford. My mom’s name is Tracey Williams, and she is married to Chad Williams. My dad’s name is Peter Alford, and he is married to Marla Alford. I have triplet brothers, Curren Alford, Cason Alford, and Christian Alford.

I was born in Lagrange, Georgia and I have lived here for the majority of my life. I attended Lagrange High School and graduated in 2015. After High School I attended LaGrange College and graduated in May of 2020. I am a graduate of Mercer Law School where I attended from August 2020 to May of 2023. After law school I returned to Lagrange to practice law with my dad at the Alford Law Group here in LaGrange. I primarily practice civil domestic law, criminal defense, juvenile law, and personal injury law.

I love to play golf, play guitar, and spend time with my wife and friends. I attend St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with my grandmother, Theresa Haralson. I am a member of the Highland Country Club, a board member at the First Tee of Lagrange, I am on the advertising and marketing committee at the country club, and I help out with several organizations throughout LaGrange and the surrounding areas.

I am the lead parent attorney in the Troup County Juvenile Court in dependency cases. In summary, I am the parent’s attorney in litigation against DFCS. Through this job, I have seen how beneficial Twin Cedars is for our community. The organization is truly a light to our society and a very useful resource for children that are in need of their services.
