Keri Drake is the current Community Director for The Yard on Mill. As an Alabama native, Keri received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from The University of Alabama in 2019. She obtained her Master of Science in Sports Management December 2023 from LSU, and currently seeking her MBA. Keri settled into LaGrange in 2020 and has become an enthusiastic resident of LaGrange and Troup County. Under her leadership, her resident community has won Best Apartment Complex in Troup County four years in a row. Keri supports community initiatives as an active member of the local graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Theta Xi Omega chapter. She is a member of the Troup County Chamber of Commerce and in 2023, Keri was tapped to participate in Leadership Troup. She has enjoyed learning about Troup County and the trajectory for its future as well as networking with fellow community leaders.

Becoming a mother to her beautiful, energetic one-year-old daughter, Kenna, has been Keri's greatest accomplishment. She had no idea that her life would be illuminated by such a brightness. She was inspired to take part in this project by Kenna. She is fully dedicated to helping children who have not been able to have that luxury and is determined to ensure her daughter is nurtured in a loving and safe environment. An adult who is supposed to love and care for a child should never subject them to suffering. She is devastated to learn that children aren't receiving the love and attention they require. She is committed to doing everything within her power to make these children's eyes shine.

Keri feels blessed to be considered for such an honor and looks forward to raising as much money and awareness for Twin Cedars as she can.
