Hello! My name is Hilary Jones, & I was born & raised here in LaGrange, GA. I am an office supervisor for 2 local offices at Wellstar Medical Group. I am married to Jonathan Jones, & together we have 4 children; Eli, 18, Madi Grace, 14, Ella, 13, & Evy Mae, 11. You can say there’s definitely never a dull moment in our house! Our son Eli is a mechanic at LaGrange Toyota, and our oldest daughter, Madi Grace is a freshman at Troup High, & is also a student at ThINC Academy in the healthcare program. Ella is in 8th grade at Long Cane Middle, & has just started her journey in travel volleyball. And our youngest, Evy Mae, is a 6th grader at Long Cane Middle. For her, Netflix & art are life!

For anyone who knows me well, they will tell you that my heart beats for helping others. God had been telling me for quite some time that my calling was to help others; and be the voice for those that cannot be heard. If I have the ability to give & serve- do just that. He led me to the Junior Service League of LaGrange this past spring, & it has been one of the best experiences I’ve encountered in my lifetime. JSL has introduced & opened so many doors & opportunities for me in the community to put my calling to work! Throughout my volunteer work, I’ve worked with children, & have seen the struggles that some of them face, not only at school but at times, at home as well. I have recently met with the Executive Director of CASA of LaGrange, Shannon Lawson, & plan on joining their team of volunteers within the next month. Even though I know I will not be a permanent fixture in these children’s lives, I will be beyond grateful and blessed to share comfort & peace with them throughout their journey, wherever they may land.

Raising money for Twin Cedars is something that has so much meaning than simply asking for donations. It’s the reaching out to the community & sharing what Twin Cedars is all about & why their donations are so important. There are so many children & families here in our community that aren’t even sure if they’ll be able to have dinner tonight. Many don’t have their own beds to sleep in. They can’t afford toiletries. They lack the luxuries that you and I consider “normal”, and day-to-day things for us. I’ve always believed that when you give with your whole heart, you’re always rewarded with a blessing, whether it’s a new job, or someone paid for your Starbucks in the drive-thru. And most of all, it’s what God expects from each of us.

I believe that Twin Cedars is a wonderful organization, & it would be an honor to be a part of giving back to those who need it most.
