Kate moved to LaGrange four years ago with her husband and two daughters who have all really enjoyed becoming part of this tightly-knit community. She is a civil engineer, spent a number of years in her dream construction management job in New York City, and now is taking time off from her career to invest in her family while the children are young. Since moving to town, she has joined the Junior Service League, the local tennis community, and First Presbyterian Church, and is an active participant at her kids' schools and all their extracurricular activities. Giving back to the community, especially through volunteerism, is one of her family's core principles so you might spot them around town doing litter pickups, planting gardens, packing after-school meals, or building beds among other things.

Kate feels honored to raise money at Behind the Mask for a cause close to her heart. She has always felt called to become a foster parent to children in need of a safe stable home and they are currently in the process of completing the application to become a foster family. She is looking forward to supporting Twin Cedars in their incredible mission of assisting families and children in the community that need it the most.
