Hi! My name is Cacee Pracht and I’m honored to be running for Queen of Behind the Mask to raise awareness and support for so many amazing charities in our wonderful community. A little bit about me…. I have been happily married to my husband John for 22 years, and we are raising three amazing children… Asher (16), Finn (12), and Emerson (10). As you can probably attest, being a mom keeps my schedule pretty full, but I also love serving at our church Rosemont First Baptist. I teach youth Sunday school, and Wednesday night Bible lessons to our elementary grade students, and I count down every year to my favorite week- being a counselor at Camp Rockridge.

For over a decade, I worked as a Pediatric ICU nurse at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta. But after our move to LaGrange and several years of being a homemaker and homeschool mom, I began working with Southern Life Insurance Group. I now have the opportunity to help seniors in our community with their Medicare benefits, life insurance, and retirement income planning. Although my career path took a pretty drastic turn, my passion never changed— I just love people, and having the opportunity to work with different families every day is a true joy!

Raising support for Safe Families of Twin Cedars is a cause especially close to my heart. If you’re unfamiliar with the program, it provides a safe home, love, and support to children whose families are experiencing difficult times. Our family began serving as a host family for the program in 2017 and have had the joy of having numerous children come through our home, some staying a night or two, some staying weeks, and others months on end. And if you ever see me around town with two beautiful little girls in tow, it was Safe Families that led us to “adopt” a precious momma and her girls Amelia (2), and Ellie (1) into our forever family. It is truly an amazing ministry, and so I am grateful, in advance, for your support of Behind the Mask, Twin Cedars, and all of the many families that are positively impacted by it.
