My name is Cheryl Magby. I’m currently employed with Communities in Schools of Georgia. I’m the Full-Service Community Schools Grant Manager at the State office in Atlanta, Ga. I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from LaGrange College, May of 2002. I also completed a Masters of Business Administration degree (MBA), with a dual concentration in Leadership and Marketing at Grand Canyon University, May of 2007. I’m a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional through the National Development Council. I love serving in my community. I serve on the Board of Directors for United Way of West Georgia, THINC Academy Business & Marketing Advisory Committee, West Georgia Technical College Business Management Advisory Board, a member of Rotary Club of LaGrange, and a dedicated member of Troup-Coweta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Chair of Physical & Mental Health Committee. I have 2 children, Chermaine & Khamani, and 2 beautiful granddaughters, Markalyn & Malayah. Raising money for Twin Cedars is important to me.
